Air Extraction Guidelines

The amount of air extracted per hour is normally measured in cubic metres and provided within the fan manufacturers‘ technical specifications.

First calculate the size of the salon in cubic metres, for example 10 m x 5 m x 3 m (length x breadth x height) = 150 cubic metres.

If this volume of air needs to be extracted 4 times an hour then 150 x 4 = 600 cubic metres per hour.

Ensure the combined output of your extractor fans meets this minimum value.
